Visit the Nature Nook, a free interactive educational area complete with books, puzzles, puppets, games, and activities. Each month explore a different nature topic!


Animal Exhibit Room

Our animal exhibit room is home to over 35 animals. Including: Mice, Ball Python Snakes, Red Tailed Boa Constrictor Snake, Corn Snake, Rabbit, Guinea Pig, Prairie Dogs, Soft Shelled Turtles, Aquatic Turtles, Box Turtles, Alligator Snapping Turtle, Common Snapping Turtle, Tiger Salamander, Sirens, Ferret, Iquana, Tree Frogs, Fire Bellied Toad, Bullfrog, and an American Toad. 

Animal Feeding Time

Learn about your favorite animals during feeding time as Wildwood staff tends to over 35 animals at the Nature Center.

Hours:  Wednesdays & Saturdays:  10:30am and 3:30pm

Critter Connection

Get up close to a Wildwood animal during a free short, family friendly presentation. Learn about the featured animal, what makes him special, what he eats, and more. Make sure to pet him before he heads back to the animal room. Visit different animals each month.
