Jun 18 | Pajama Party with the Animals
Dress in your favorite PJ’s and head over to Wildwood to spend some one-on-one time with our animal friends. Venture into the animal room to see them preparing for bedtime. Enjoy snacks, drinks, and activities. Learn more about the animals as they roam around the room. (Min 5/Max 20)

Jun 19 | Super Summer Outdoor Sale
Calling all adults and kids! Do you want to have a garage sale but don’t have enough space to have one? We have a solution for you. Rent a space at the Community Center–one 6 to 8 foot table, one chair included in fee. Space is approximately 10x10 feet. We will handle all the advertising. Set up time is 7:30am - 8:30am. No admission fee for the public. Food will be available for purchase. Rain date will be June 26.

Jun 19 | Adults Gone Fishin’ Derby
Wake up while the fish are biting and get ready for some friendly competition at the Wildwood Nature Center’s first Adult Fishing Derby. The ponds have been stocked and the fish are ready to bite! The registration fee includes one container of bait (wax worms or night crawlers). Registrants must bring their own poles and have a valid fishing license. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time to check in. Trophies will be awarded for the largest fish, the smallest fish, the most fish caught. (Min 15/Max 50)

Jun 19 | Kids’ Fishing Clinic
Interested in attending the Fishing Derby but have never fished before? Attend the fishing clinics to learn how to cast, how to bait the hook, and other helpful tips. The clinics are perfect for first time or beginner fishers. (Min 5/Max 20)

Jun 26 | Gone Fishin’ Derby
Come to Wildwood Nature Center for the Kids Fishing Derby at the Maine Park ponds. The ponds have been stocked and the fish are ready to bite! The registration fee includes one container of bait (wax worms or night crawlers) and all participants receive a goody bag. Registrants must bring their own poles! Three different age groups: 2-4 years, 5-8 years, and 9-15 year-olds. Each group has its own 60 or 90 minute fishing session.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior the start time to check in. Prizes and trophies will be awarded for the largest fish, the smallest fish, the most fish caught, and for special catches in each age group. Prizes will be awarded at the end of each age’s session. Food and drinks will be for sale throughout the fishing derby. (Min 15/Max 100)

Jun 26 | Historic Tour of Park Ridge
From the asteroid strike 15,000 years ago through pioneering days to the Kalo Arts and Crafts Community House, Captain Kangaroo’s Mr. Greenjeans, the Blues Brothers and Harrison Ford. Come and find out how and why Park Ridge came to be and how the town has evolved through the years. Learn about the fascinating people, places and events have left their legacy on this informative and entertaining trip through history with a ride-along docent as a guide. Registration deadline: June 10. (Min 6/Max 12)

We can’t wait to celebrate the most luscious fruit of the season during historic Cedarburg’s 25th Annual Strawberry Festival. Lunch is on your own at the outdoor food courts or in one of Cedarburg’s many restaurants. Trip includes motor coach transportation. (Min 6/Max 10)
