Oct 24 | Bone Chillin’ Challenge Pumpkin
Sign up to compete and conquer the Bone Chillin’ Challenge. Gather a group of fierce competitors (2-5 people per team) to face off against the unknown. Harness your physical and mental bravery to compete and win this Survivor-like competition. Battle for fabulous prizes. (Min 10/Max 40)

Oct 24 | Halloween Cookie Day Pumpkin
This fun and interactive cookie decorating class will bring out the pastry chef in any child. Children will enjoy designing and decorating a cookie box and six Halloween themed cookies. Your little baker will learn basic kitchen safety procedures, table manners, and how to design and decorate a cookie from our cookie professional. (Min 4/Max 12)

Oct 25 | Kooky Spooky Halloween Skate Pumpkin
Kids, bring the whole family for a special day and don’t forget to wear your costume. There will be plenty to do: spooky music, cool games, costume contests & lots of tricks and treats. No registration required.

Oct 28 | Going Batty Pumpkin
Bats - creepy or cool? Come decide for yourself! Join us for an evening of learning about these mysterious night-flying creatures! We will play games, make a craft and go on a night hike in search of local bats in action. (Min 5/Max 15)

Oct 28 | Halloween House Decorating Contest Pumpkin
This contest is open to all Park Ridge Park District residents. Entries will be judged in two categories - Scariest and Most Original. Homes will be viewed on October 28th between 7:00pm and 8:30pm. Winners will be announced at our Halloween Family Fun Fest on October 31, 2009 at 2:30pm. Winners need not be present. (Min 6/Max 12)

Oct 30 | Monster Mash Dance Party Pumpkin
Put on your costume and join us for a dance party and dance-off contest. If you’re interested in registering a team, stop by Maine Park’s front desk and pick up your Dance Team form. We’ll have pizza, pop and a fantastic DJ to play your favorite hits. Spaces are limited so sign up today! Parents are required to drop off and pick up their child inside Maine Park Leisure Center. Registration deadline: October 24. (Min 50/Max 100)

Oct 31 | Halloween Family Fun Fest Pumpkin
Maine Park is the place where you can take your kids for an afternoon of good old fashion Halloween fun. “Houses” will line the hallways allowing children to trick or treat and fill up their bags with safe candy and spooky toys. Lunch will be available for purchase in our Dracula’s Den. Each child attending needs to register for this event, and must be accompanied by an adult. Registration deadline: October 24. (Min 60/Max 100)
