healthier! Hop on over and join in the Go Healthy
Challenge activities! This
fun, family-oriented event is free and is held
outdoors at Maine Park
located at 2701
West Sibley. Free “Go Healthy Challenge” goody
bags for the first 200 children to check in
at the “World Wide Day of Play” table. World
Wide Day of Play is an annual celebration sponsored
by Nickelodeon® that
promotes active play for kids and adults.
Last year
over 250,000 kids participated in more that
900 locations in nine countries.

Annual Charity Classic
The
32nd Annual Charity Classic is scheduled for Saturday, September
27 at 8:00am. The 5K (3.1 mile) race will benefit a chosen
charity. The course begins at Summit Mall and ends at Hinkley
Pool. There will be numerous age category awards plus a free
T-shirt for all runners! Don’t miss out! Applications
are available at Maine Park Leisure Center and Pickwick Theatre.
