The Park Ridge Park District has several pavilion and picnic spots to host your next gathering! To request a rental of a pavilion or a picnic site, please call 847-692-5127 (Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm or Friday 8:30am-4:30pm) or submit a Facility/Park Rental Application.

Portable gas grills are allowed at Hinkley, Maine, Prospect, Wildwood, and Woodland Park Pavilions. Stationary charcoal grills are provided at Centennial Park, Northwest Park, and Prospect Park picnic areas.

Centennial Park Pavilion

100 S. Western Avenue, Park Ridge

The Centennial Pavilion is located at Centennial Park, a 17-acre property which is home to the Fitness Center, Activity Center, Aquatic Center, sled hill, sports fields, playground, picnic areas, and access to indoor restrooms. It is perfect for your next family gathering and other special occasions outdoors. Add an indoor space at the Activity Center for an additional fee.

Capacity: Up to 50 guests
Resident Fee: $60 / 4hrs
Non-Resident Fee: $120 / 4hrs

Hinkley Park Pavilion

25 Busse Highway, Park Ridge

The Hinkley Pavilion is located at Hinkley Park, a 12.5-acre property which offers a wide range of amenities, including a playground, ballfields, batting tunnels, tennis courts sand volleyball courts, basketball court, skate park, and outdoor restrooms. It is perfect for your next family gathering and other special occasions outdoors. 

Capacity: Up to 50 guests
Resident Fee: $60 / 4hrs
Non-Resident Fee: $120 / 4hrs

Maine Park Pavilion

2701 W. Sibley Street, Park Ridge

The Maine Park Pavilion is located at Maine Park, a 13.6-acre property which is home to the Maine Park Leisure Center, sled hill, sports field, playground, picnic areas, and access to indoor restrooms.

Non-Resident Fee: $120 / 4hrs

Prospect Park Pavilion

733 North Prospect Avenue, Park Ridge

The Prospect Park Pavilion is located at Prospect Park, an 11.3 acre property. With access to the Splash Pad, playground, performance area, and athletic field, Prospect Park is a great place to spend your day.

Capacity: Up to 30 guests
Resident Fee: $60 / 4hrs
Non-Resident Fee: $120 / 4hrs

Wildwood Pavilion

529 Forestview, Park Ridge

Schedule a gathering at the Wildwood Nature Center Pavilion and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere that feels miles away from the busy suburban life. Your guests can take a self-guided walk through our 5-acre restored prairie and enjoy our two ponds and butterfly garden. The Pavilion features a beautiful wood-burning fireplace. Firewood is available for an additional $29.

Resident Fee: $114 / 4hrs
Non-Resident Fee: $228 / 4hrs

Woodland Park Pavilion

1200 N. Western Avenue, Park Ridge

The new Woodland Park Pavilion is a wonderful spot for your next outdoor gathering! At Woodland Park, visitors have access to soccer fields, pickleball courts, a basketball court, a playground, a drinking fountain, cornhole boxes, and a table tennis table (must provide your own bags, paddles, and balls). It also offers an outdoor restroom (available April 1 - November 1) and ample parking. For an additional fee you can rent a sports equipment kit that includes a ping pong set, bags set, and pickleball set.

Prospect Park Picnic Grove

Capacity: Up to 50 guests
Resident Fee (groups of 25+): $19 / 5hrs

Northwest Park Picnic Grove

1200 N. Dee Rd., Park Ridge

Capacity: Up to 200 guests

Special Event Permits

Groups wishing to host a special event at the Park Ridge Park District and want to request certain activities that are not permissible under the Park District Ordinance without special permission are required to apply for a Special Event Permit. Examples of activities requiring this type of permit include but are not limited to: use of amplified sound, use of electricity or water, fundraising event, 5k walks and/or runs.

Special Event Permits are issued to organizations or groups that are able to provide a certificate of insurance naming the Park District as additionally insured for a minimum of $1 million. Additional permits may also be required by the City of Park Ridge. 

Please note that any permitted parks will remain open to the public during the event. Also, the Park District does not permit event activities that duplicate services already offered by the Park District (such as Movie in the Park).
