This eight-hour, two-day course is for motorists age 55 and older. It focuses on the physical changes that accompany aging and on ways older adult drivers can compensate for these changes to improve their driving skills. After taking this course you will be eligible for a multi-year discount on your car insurance! Fee is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-AARP members to be paid on the first day of class to AARP. In the Beginners Hand Building Class, you'll learn a variety of techniques over 5weeks (two terms) to create your own handmade pottery. Here are some of the items you'll learn to make: • Pinch and coil pots • Coiled pots and textured bowls Throughout the course, you'll also be introduced to basic glazing techniques.
