The Park Ridge Park District is dedicated to keeping active adults having fun, keeping busy, and staying healthy! Try out restaurants near and far, and leave the driving to us! Each month we visit a different restaurant, and you get to choose what to order. Your cost simply includes the price of transportation; meal cost is on your own. If you wish to meet at the restaurant, please let the front desk know. If there is a waitlist please feel free to still sign up. Waitlisted individuals are listed in numerical order and are given the opportunity to register when there is a cancellation.
JANUARY: China Chef
This Cantonese and Filipino restaurant has been a town treasure since it opened in 1977, serving great food with a variety of affordable daily lunch specials.

Whether you choose to savor Perry’s iconic Pork Chop, something special from their “Senior Menu” or from Perry’s Lunch menu, your taste buds will take pleasure with each bite. Halim Time & Glass Museum, Evanston, IL (2 Feet)
The Halim Time & Glass Museum showcases a private collection of one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive collections of rare and historic clocks, watches, immaculately restored stained glass windows and decorative arts. Enjoy a guided tour of this Evanston gem. Afterward we’ll lunch at Maggiano’s where lunch is on your own. Fee includes guided tour, admission to museum and transportation. Registration deadline: February 12.

Just steps from the Magnificent Mile, the Driehaus Museum is dedicated to the art, architecture, and design of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with a focus on the Gilded Age. It is located in the historic, restored Nickerson Mansion, a former private residence, and showcases the era's decorative arts. Our docent led tour of the three floors of the mansion is accessible by elevator and includes a special limited “Tiffany Lamps: Beyond the Shade” exhibit. After the museum we’ll lunch at Orso’s Italian Restaurant. Registration deadline: February 23.
