Programs

This course will provide an introduction to the basics of animation. Learners use traditional animation practices to create artwork and apply the elements and principles of art and design, as well as the principles of animation. Learners in this course will experiment, take inspiration with watching examples and create artworks demonstrating the elements of art: Animation Basics, Principles of Animation, Character Design, Backgrounds, Movement, Script and Storyboards. Last session of class will be a showcase of projects for friends and family.

Building off of what they learned in our Beginning Animation workshop, students will learn more advanced techniques to use in their own creations. *Prerequisite is to have taken Beginning Animation course at least twice. There will be a showcase of projects for friends and family.

Come and create Halloween keepsakes together! Each participant will craft their own ceramic Jack o' lantern and friendly little ghost to light up the season. Adults are expected to accompany each registered child and they will work on their creations together.

Little artists will have a frightfully fun time making their own Halloween-Themed creations! From Silly ghosts to spooky goblins, kids will explore different art materials while letting their imaginations run wild. A perfect workshop for getting into the Halloween spirit!
