Grinch your family, friends, and neighbors with a surprise at home candy cane hunt. The Grinches assistants will hide 2 dozen candy canes, a sprinkling of smaller candy canes in the front yard and leave a fun sign on the door. Grinching will happen between December 12th and 15th between the hours of 12-3pm for a fun afternoon or after school /work surprise. Additional candy canes can be ordered for $3.00 a dozen. Open to Park Ridge Park District residents and Park Ridge addresses only.

Experience the excitement of New Year's Eve around the world with your family, without leaving Park Ridge or staying up late! Explore cultural traditions, make crafts, and enjoy refreshments inspired by global flavors. Games, music, and entertainment takes place throughout the event. The celebration ends with noise makers, hats, beads, and a traditional New Year's Eve balloon drop.

Give your child’s imagination a boost! Students will learn the fundamentals of acting through engaging games, imaginative play, and storytelling. Your child will develop core skills such as speaking clearly in front of an audience, vocal projection, using their imagination on stage, concentration, and teamwork. Students will perform a showcase of their work on the last day of class.

Learn the art of Sketch Comedy and Improv! Your child will work with a professional teaching artist to develop and rehearse a combination of classic and original sketch comedy pieces. Students will also dive into the art of improv through engaging games, scene work, and improvisational exercises. Fun and hilarity will certainly ensue! Students will perform a showcase of their work on the last day of the session.
