Step into a world of spooktacular fun at our Walking Trunk or Treat event! Join us as we take over the entire parking lot at Centennial Fitness and Activity Center for a ghoulishly good time as we stroll through a maze of themed trunks filled with treats and surprises from the Park District, local businesses and other organizations. Participants are encourage to dress up. Fee is per family and registration deadline is Friday, Oct 18

Celebrate the holidays by creating a decoration made from sweet treats. Parents and children can customize preassembled gingerbread houses with candy, licorice ropes, gum drops and more. Make a mess that you don't have to clean up! Light snacks and drinks are included. Don't for get to bring box to transport your creation!

We are bringing the Santa and The North Pole to Maine Park! We are transforming the hallways into our North Pole Trail. Along the trail you will make Reindeer food, play games, make crafts and enjoy other fun surprises. The best part is at the end you will get to visit with Santa and take a photo. Sign up for a time slot and come anytime during your timeslot. Trail and visit will last about 15 to 20 mins. Fee is per child; Registration deadline is December 1st.

Grinch your family, friends, and neighbors with a surprise at home candy cane hunt. The Grinches assistants will hide 2 dozen candy canes, a sprinkling of smaller candy canes in the front yard and leave a fun sign on the door. Grinching will happen between December 12th and 15th between the hours of 12-3pm for a fun afternoon or after school /work surprise. Additional candy canes can be ordered for $3.00 a dozen. Open to Park Ridge Park District residents and Park Ridge addresses only.

Have you ever wondered how to care for reindeer or what is like to work in the North Pole toy workshop? Find out in our Elf Training Class! Our class has a direct line to the North Pole, and you will get a to create: Reindeer food, hand crafted holiday card, holiday ornament, learn silly songs, create special elf slime and have a cup of cocoa with our head elf while we learn the elf tricks of the trade. An “Official Elf Certificate” will be supplied upon completion.
