The Park District offers dozens of programs for adults just like you. We want to help you rediscover long-forgotten talents or interests, or try something you’ve always wondered about. Who knows, you might surprise yourself. In the process, you’ll meet new people and have fun!

Zentangle & Your Mental Health (Ages 18 & Up) Celebrate Mental Health Month with Zentangle! Enjoy a fun and relaxing way to boost creativity and wellbeing while learning new tangles each week. Easy to learn and open to all levels. Participants will receive a Zentangle journal to use in class and keep. Attend one session or all sessions for the price of one. Led by Certified Zentangle Instructor Robin Moss. This is a contracted class. CAC

Brighten your home with a custom spring planter! In this fun and easy craft workshop, you’ll use Mod Podge to transform a simple pot into a cheerful, one-of-a-kind creation. No experience is needed—just bring your creativity! Please wear comfortable old clothing or bring an apron, as this project can get a little messy. Instructor: Robin Moss. This is a contracted class. Gelli Printmaking Workshop (Ages 18 & Up) Discover the fun and creativity of Gelli printmaking in this hands-on art class! Using a flexible gel printing plate, acrylic paints, and a variety of textures and materials, you’ll create beautiful layered prints with unique patterns and colors. No two prints are ever the same, making this an exciting and relaxing way to explore your artistic side. Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike—just bring your creativity and enjoy experimenting with this simple yet fascinating printmaking technique. All materials are provided. Pease plan to wear paint-friendly attire or bring an apron, as this process can be delightfully messy. Instructor: Jane Kozak. This is a contracted class. Lakeside Pavilion Outdoor Summer Concert (Age 21 & Up) 3 Feet Step back in time and relive the iconic hits and high-energy spirit of the ultimate MTV-era 1980s at the Lakeside Pavilion at McAninch Arts Center, College of DuPage. For your comfort, please bring a lawn chair or low back seat to enjoy the concert. Kindly leave coolers and wagons at home. A variety of food and beverage vendors will be available on-site; outside alcohol is not permitted. Fee is only for transportation. Registration deadline: July 8.

Acquaviva Winery (Age 21 & Up) 2 Feet Visit Acquaviva Winery in Maple Park, a beautiful estate vineyard known for its award-winning wines and Italian charm. The day includes a guided tour of the winery and a wine tasting, where you’ll learn about the winemaking process and sample a variety of wines. Afterward, enjoy time to relax and have lunch on your own at the winery’s Italian-inspired ristorante while taking in the scenic vineyard views. Fee includes Winery Tour and tasting, and transportation. Lunch is on your own. Registration deadline: July 13.
