Yoga for Empowered Aging

Yoga postures, breath work, and mindfulness practices are essential for extending your healthy and active years. This Yoga Workshop includes yoga postures - using props as optional supports - to develop flexibility, strength, balance, and agility; breathing techniques to improve respiratory function; and mindfulness practices for emotional wellbeing and stress management. Emphasis on social connection support you to live your life to the fullest. Breathing techniques improve respiratory functioning and mindfulness training for emotional well being. Receive handouts of what we worked on so that you can continue to work at your own pace at home.
