Bingo for a Cause Bring canned goods and non-perishable food items with a shelf life of at least 6+ months to donate to the Maine Township Food Pantry. In return you will receive an extra Bingo card to increase your chances of winning a prize. Visit with all your friends as you play several rounds of Bingo and leave knowing that you’re contributing to a worthy cause. Dessert and pizza is served. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to build on existing skills, our beginning hand building classes are the perfect place to start. Join us and unleash your inner artist! In the Beginners Hand Building Class, you'll learn a variety of techniques over 8 weeks to create your own handmade pottery. Here are some of the items you'll learn to make: • Pinch and coil pots • Coiled pots and textured bowls Throughout the course, you'll also be introduced to basic glazing techniques.

Are you a veteran or a family member of a veteran? Navigating veteran's benefits can be overwhelming. Join us for an enlightening seminar where Veteran Benefit expert, Tom Pizur, will guide you through NEW information about various benefits available. Even if you have applied for benefits before, new information is available and may change your eligibility! Mr. Pizur will discuss the Aid & Attendance Policy which can pay Veterans up to $2,727 per month. Benefits available for widows of Veterans, those exposed to Agent Orange, Jet Fuels or those stationed at Camp LeJuene. Benefits are now available to help pay for Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Home Care. Refreshments to be served compliments of The Summit of Uptown.
