Oakton Sports Complex is now open! Stop by this season to check out this amazing facility featuring a completely renovated main rink, new studio rink, training room, indoor turf field, multipurpose rooms, and concessions area operated by The Harp and Fiddle.

With a new indoor athletic field, we're expanding our athletic program offerings! No matter your interest, we've got something for you - from adult leagues to youth skill clinics and more. Click the program area quick links to explore this season's offerings.

Any level of skater will enjoy our public skating hours. Looking to take things a step further? We have the right class for you! Our introductory figure skating, Oakton Edge Skating Academy, and developmental hockey programs are known as some of the finest in the Chicagoland area. Interested in speedskating? Check out our affiliate program. With a long history of Olympic and World Class skaters and coaches, Oakton Ice Arena can meet all of your expectations.

2026 Skating Passes are valid September 2, 2025 - December 31, 2026. 

  • Residents: $95 first family member / $60 each additional pass
  • Non-Residents: $125 first family member / $90 each additional pass

Indoor Turf Walking Track & Open Play Hours

Indoor Walking Track

Stay active year-round on our FREE indoor walking track, which runs along the outside perimeter of Oakton's indoor athletic field. It's a safe, comfortable space to walk or stretch—rain or shine. Perfect for individuals, families, or walking groups!

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 6:00am-4:00pm
  • Wednesday: 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Saturday & Sunday: 6:00am-8:00am

Please check in at the front desk upon arrival. A participant waiver is required to participate. 

Indoor Turf Open Play

Indoor Turf Open Play

Open Turf is only available April - December

Practice your skills during our open play times on the indoor athletic field! Open to all ages unless otherwise noted. Please note, use of baseball bats is prohibited during Open Turf Play.

Drop-In Fee: $10 per person per session

Concessions

The concession stand at Oakton Sports Complex, operated by The Harp & Fiddle, offers a variety of hot and cold items for your dining enjoyment. Spring/Summer concession hours will vary based on facility programming. Updated weekly hours will be posted in the concession area.

Food Consumption Rules at Oakton Sports Complex

  • All glass bottles and containers are prohibited.
  • Limited outside food and drink is allowed in the facility.
  • Homemade foods, small snacks, sack lunches, and non-alcoholic beverages (in plastic or aluminum cans) are allowed in the facility.
  • Other food items that cause/may cause excessive trash, distraction or harm to the facility or its patrons, or are otherwise deemed as non-permissible by Oakton Sports Complex Management (e.g. sunflower seeds, gum, candy) are not allowed.

Rentals

Party Packages

Party Packages include both on-ice/turf and off-ice/turf time. Skating parties are available year round. Turf parties are available April - December only. Click the link below to learn more about our Party Packages, contact our team, or download and submit a Rental Application.

Facility Rentals

Oakton Sports Complex offers rental of the indoor athletic field, ice rinks, training room, and multipurpose rooms. Rentals may also add-on access to the outdoor patio, an attractive gathering space that includes a television and fireplace.

Ice Bocce Drop-In

Ice Bocce Drop-In

Ice bocce is a winter twist on the classic lawn game, played in gym shoes on the ice. Players slide weighted balls across the ice, aiming to land closest to a smaller target ball (the pallino). The slick surface adds extra challenge and strategy, making the game faster, trickier, and full of dramatic glides.
