Are you passionate about making a difference in our community? The Park Ridge Park District is inviting candidates to run for one of three available positions on the Board of Commissioners in the upcoming April 6, 2027, Consolidated Election.
Candidate Packet Availability:
- In-Person: Pick up packets at our Administrative Office (733 N. Prospect Avenue, Wohlers Hall Building) during regular business hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.

About the Board of Commissioners:
- The Board consists of seven members serving 4-year terms.
- Commissioners volunteer their time to help shape the future of our parks.
- Candidates must be qualified electors of the Park Ridge Park District and must have resided within the Park Ridge Park District for at least one(1) year immediately preceding the election.
- A person is not eligible to serve as a Park Commissioner if that person is in arrears in the payment of any tax or other indebtedness due to the Park District. Certain criminal convictions may affect a person’s eligibility to hold public office under Illinois law. Candidates should consult the Illinois Candidate’s Guide and their own legal counsel regarding eligibility requirements.
