Join Wonder Stream for a fun, supportive Halloween social skills class designed to help kids feel more confident and prepared for Halloween! Together, we’ll explore trick-or-treating, taking turns, social interactions, and Halloween vocabulary through fun, hands-on activities. Participants will have opportunities to practice important skills with peers in a supportive environment, receiving individualized support for communication, sensory needs, and different learning styles. Each child will leave with a Halloween craft and trick-or-treating visual supports to help make Halloween night—and the Park District’s Trunk or Treat on October 30th—a little more predictable and comfortable. The class will be led by a certified LBS1 & early childhood teacher, SLP, and OT, who will provide support throughout the class while helping each child participate at their own pace. Come learn, practice, create, and get ready for a spooktacular Halloween!

Sticky Fingers Cooking offers young chefs the chance to explore exciting tastes and master culinary skills that kids can put to use in their family kitchens while nourishing their bodies and minds. We provide all of the tools, ingredients, and instruction needed to cook up a fun, delicious, and incredibly healthy after-school snack each week.

The Young Investors Club: Fun with Finance Ages 11-16 Students love to learn about investing and stocks! Learn concepts like saving vs. investing, diversification, and the language of Wall Street. Our online investment simulation game is a hands-on, fun activity that reinforces what students have learned. Your child will build positive money habits and financial savvy...and begin their journey towards a financially independent future! Step into Whoville for a mischievous holiday adventure! Join us for a whimsical, Grinch-themed candy cane hunt filled with holiday cheer, giggles, and maybe a little Grinchy mischief! Hidden throughout the park or inside due to weather, candy canes of all shapes and sizes await discovery—but beware! The Grinch has snuck in and swapped some of them for silly surprises! Keep an eye out for the sneaky Grinch himself—he loves to stir up fun!
