This course will provide an introduction to the basics of animation. Learners use traditional animation practices to create artwork and apply the elements and principles of art and design, as well as the principles of animation. Learners in this course will experiment, take inspiration with watching examples and create artworks demonstrating the elements of art: Animation Basics, Principles of Animation, Character Design, Backgrounds, Movement, Script and Storyboards. Last session of class will be a showcase of projects for friends and family.

Little artists will have a frightfully fun time making their own Halloween-Themed creations! From Silly ghosts to spooky goblins, kids will explore different art materials while letting their imaginations run wild. A perfect workshop for getting into the Halloween spirit!

Older kids will dive into the mysterious side of Halloween as they create spooky (but not too scary!) works of art. From eerie ghosts to mischievous goblins. Participants will experiment with different techniques and materials to bring their haunted visions to life. A creative way to celebrate the season with just the right amount of spooky fun!

Step into the world of special effects makeup! In this Halloween-themed workshop, students will learn the basics of creating creepy cuts, bruises, and other simple SFX looks using fake blood and makeup techniques. Each participant will practice making a realistic cut on their arm and explore other spooky makeup effects perfect for costumes. ⚠️ Please note: This workshop uses fake blood and is not suitable for individuals with latex allergies.
