Online shopping offers convenience and variety, but it also comes with cyber risks—especially during the holiday season when scams increase. As more people shop, donate, and search for deals online, cybercriminals take advantage, putting consumers at risk for fraud, identity theft, and privacy issues. Agnes Lizak, an outreach liaison from the Office of the Attorney General, will share information on common online shopping and holiday scams, along with practical tips to help you stay safe, including how to identify current scams and protect yourself from cybersecurity risks and deceptive practices.
