We’re taking over the brand new Oakton Ice Arena for an exclusive teen-only skate night. No skates? No worries, we’ve got you covered with rentals included. The rink is all yours, so come chill, vibe to music, and make memories on the ice. The concession stands will be available for snacks and drinks, so remember to bring some cash along with you. Ready to turn screen time into creative time? In this exciting, hands-on after-school class, young learners will step into the shoes of a real video game developer! Using Kodu Game Lab, a visual, kid-friendly 3D programming language designed by Microsoft, students will build, populate, and program their very own three-dimensional worlds. From crafting rolling hills and glowing oceans to coding a robotic hero to navigate mazes and battle custom enemies, your child will learn the fundamentals of coding using its highly intuitive, icon-based interface. Students will master essential computer science concepts like loops, variables, and if-then logic in this fun and engaging program.
