Autumn Comfort Cooking (1 Foot) Lisle, IL Enjoy a delicious and engaging culinary experience as Chef Dan demonstrates how to prepare a comforting fall-inspired meal. Watch cooking techniques and preparation tips come to life while learning the secrets behind tender Braised Pork Shoulder, savory homemade gravy, seasonal side dishes, and more. Following the demonstration, guests will enjoy lunch served buffet style featuring braised pork shoulder, glazed carrots, mashed potatoes with homemade gravy, seasonal fall salad, and white chocolate cranberry cookies for dessert. Christmas Crossroads (3 Feet) Lockport, IL One of Chicago’s Best indoor holiday market craft show featuring handmade items from over 220 crafters, artisans and makers. Enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience while browsing and shopping from a variety of categories at the market. All the proceeds from this event benefit scholarships and local causes within the community. Seasonal Luminary Creations (Ages 18 & Up) As the days grow shorter and the evenings longer, brighten your home with a beautiful handmade mason jar luminary! In this creative class, participants will decorate glass jars using paint, glue and colorful tissue paper to create a glowing design that shines beautifully when illuminated. These charming luminaries make wonderful seasonal decorations or thoughtful handmade gifts. All materials provided. Instructor, Robin Moss. This is a contracted class.
