Grab those holiday jammies for a musical pajama party for the whole family! Rock out with Miss Jennifer to Holiday and Christmas favorites, and songs from Hanukkah and Kwanzaa traditions, too. Instruments, scarves, and jingle bells will bring the holidays to life! Take a break from the hustle and bustle to connect as a family and get into the holiday spirit. Kids ages birth to 99 will love this interactive sing-along concert!

Do you pride yourself with the scariest or cheeriest Halloween house décor? Let’s see how creative Park Ridge can be! Register for our outdoor Halloween House Decorating Contest. All homes will be judged on Monday, October 20 between 5:30pm-8:30pm by Park District staff. Staff will also take photos and video of your display to share on our Facebook page and be voted on by the public. The photo with the most likes by 9am the Friday of the contest will be presented the People’s Choice award. All winners will have a sign placed in their front yard as a winner of the contest. This contest is open to Park Ridge Park District resident home addresses only. We will select winners in the following categories: Family Friendly Most Spooky Most Creative Best Theme Park District Staff Choice People's Choice (via Facebook)

Step into a world of spooktacular fun at our Walking Trunk or Treat event! Join us as we take over the entire parking lot at Centennial Fitness and Activity Center for a ghoulishly good time as we stroll through a maze of themed trunks filled with treats and surprises from the Park District, local businesses and other organizations. Participants are encourage to dress up. Fee is per family and registration deadline is Friday, Oct 23

Celebrate the holidays by creating a decoration made from sweet treats. Parents and children can customize preassembled gingerbread houses with candy, licorice ropes, gum drops and more. Make a mess that you don't have to clean up! Light snacks and drinks are included. Don't for get to bring box to transport your creation!
