Written in less than two months, the story quickly became a sensation, inspiring stage adaptations and forever shaping the way Christmas was celebrated in England and America. Join Ellie as she explores Dickens’ most memorable Christmas traditions, their origins, and the lasting influence they continue to have on holiday celebrations today. Lunch on candied walnut & cranberry salad, Roast Turkey breast and gravy, wedged garlic parmesan potatoes, and green beans with bacon vinaigrette. Presented by Ellie Carlson. Trot like a turkey around the CAC as you partake in this classic Thanksgiving race. Whether you are a longtime walker or just want to join the fun, this mile walk is perfect for all levels. Gobble up a delicious Thanksgiving lunch of Roasted Natural Turkey, cornbread stuffing, classic mashed potatoes and gravy, garden salad, and green bean casserole. After lunch get ready to step into “Time Warp,” an exciting interactive game show hosted by Eric St. John! Participants travel through the decades as they compete in fun rounds of music, pop culture, and trivia challenges. With an engaging format designed for group participation, lively pacing, and plenty of surprises, this program delivers a nostalgic and entertaining experience for all. Celebrate the holidays together at Ridgemoor Country Club. Join us for a great meal, raffles, and dance to the music from the Peter Oprisko Trio.
