Refund Policy

You may request a withdrawal either by calling 847-692-5127 or by submitting a completed Program Withdrawal Request form in person or by email to recreation@prparks.org. If you withdraw from a program prior to the start, a full program fee minus a $5 administrative fee will be applied as a credit to your Park District account.

If, for any reason, you would like to be reimbursed instead of credited, please allow two to three weeks for refund processing. After the start, a prorated program fee, minus the $5 administrative fee, will be issued as a credit based on the date of the request. The district may prorate the expenses already incurred in advance for any program or event. No refunds will be issued after the third class.

No refunds will be issued for trips after the deadline date, one-day classes/programs, special events, outdoor swimming pool passes/memberships, ice skating passes/memberships, and facility rentals canceled within 30 days of the rental activity, EXCEPT in cases of illness, injury, or moving out-of-district, or at the discretion of the Superintendent of Recreation.

Camp Withdrawls - NEW for 2025!

You may request a withdrawal either by calling 847-692-5127 or by submitting a completed Summer Camp Withdrawal Request Form and emailing to recreation@prparks.org.

Refund amounts will be issued according to the specific deadlines indicated on the Camp Withdrawal Chart listed below.
A refund will be issued as a household (HH) credit on the primary account unless asked for the refund to be returned to the form of payment used when registering.
Withdrawal deadlines and fees are per camper, per session, per camp.
A full credit will be issued if the District cancels any summer camp.
Due to the demand for participation in Park Ridge Park District summer camps and the limited number of spots available, refunds will not be issued for camp days that campers are unable to attend due to illness or family schedule conflicts.

Satisfaction Guarantee

The Park Ridge Park District promises to provide quality recreation programs and events, and we back up that promise by offering a satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not completely satisfied with a recreational class in which you participate, please tell us and we will arrange for you to do one of the following:

Repeat the class at no charge.
Receive full credit that can be applied to another program.
Receive a full refund.

Refund applications may be completed in person at any Park District facility or by phone at 847-692-5127.

Requests must be made within 10 business days after the last class meeting. Your receipt, cancelled check, or proof of I.D. may be required.

Refund checks will be made payable to the original payee and mailed within 15 business days.

Satisfaction Guarantee does not apply to the driving range, camps, adult sport leagues, food or beverages, facility memberships, daily admissions, tickets to entertainment or sport events, and other select programs.
