Adjacent to South Park Rec Center, this is the perfect place to bring toddlers and infants!

Weather Policy

Opening and closing of the pool is subject to prevailing weather conditions, including cold weather (temperature at 68 degrees or below) electrical or thunder storms, or heavy rain. Or, if there are no guests for two hours at the South Park Wading Pool.

Daily Fees

All Ages: $5 Resident / $8 Non-Resident

  • Any person entering the facility 12 months and older must pay the entrance fee.
  • Children 11 months and under are free.
  • Proof of residency is required to receive resident rates.
  • Children 8 years of age and younger must be accompanied by a responsible person 16 years of age or older.

  • Located next to south park playground for additional fun
  • Restrooms located in the lower level of the main building

Facility Rentals

Resident registration for Private Pool Rentals for 2023 opens ONLINE ONLY on April 3. Non-resident registration opens on April 7. Please contact Jenna Jezek at jjezek@prparks.org or 847-292-8921 with any questions.

South Park Wading Pool rental dates are available beginning May 30.

Private rentals are available daily from 5:30pm-7:00pm.
Fee: $115 R / $126 NR
Max Capacity: 90 people

Private Wading Pool Rental with Room Rental at the South Park Rec Center:
• 25% discount on room rental at the South Park Rec Center
• Liquor license not available

Murtle the Turtle’s Birthday Party
