Intro to Skateboarding (Ages 3–5)
Young skaters will be introduced to the very
basics of skateboarding in a safe and supportive
environment. Lessons focus on balance, standing
on the board, pushing, and the first simple tricks
every skater learns. With hands-on guidance, kids
will also get help riding down small ramps as
they build comfort and confidence. Skaters must
bring a drink and wear a helmet. Knee, elbow, and wrist guards
encouraged. Skateboards are provided for this class. Email

Appropriate for beginning and intermediate levels. Beginners learn how
to start, stop, turn, basic ramp riding, and tricks; intermediate skaters
learn skills based on ability. Skaters must bring a drink and wear a
helmet. Knee, elbow, and wrist guards encouraged. No board, No

2270001 / Community Garden Plots
Whether you are an avid gardener or just beginning to explore your interest in gardening, garden plots are available to you this spring. Each garden plot is 4'x16'. The community gardens are available daily from dawn-dusk, May 1-October 31. The cost of the plots is $40 per person.
Due to the limited availability of spaces and interest in plots, registration is a lottery system open only to Park Ridge residents, age 18 & older. Payment is not required until lottery entries are selected. Lottery takes place on Wednesday, April 1.
