5225131 / Sunday Sound Bath Yoga
During a sound bath you will experience rhythmic sounds that encourage the release of feel-good chemicals. The resonant sounds bring about a sense of relaxation, balance, and well-being. This is typically done lying down comfortably as in "savasana" at the end of a yoga class while participants focus on listening to various sounds of the instruments which are often bowls, gongs and chimes. The goal is to relax the body and mind by letting the sounds wash over you, promoting a meditative sate without intellectualizing the experience.
5225132 / Yoga Peak Pose Intention: Bird of Paradise
This specialty class breaks down the elements of a fun and challenging peak pose called bird of paradise. Safely prepare your body and muscles to try different variations of the pose. There will be time for hands on help and instruction to feel comfortable and confident getting into this fun yoga asana. All levels welcome.
