2010350 / Coed Whiffleball League

This league allows the coaches to form their own teams. Players register individually and should indicate the coach they are signing up for at the time of registration. If you do not have a coach, we will try to form teams from the free agent pool or assign to existing teams that are short players. Teams must have 6-9 players on the roster. 6 players play in the field. Rosters need to be finalized and submitted to Jim Dihu@ jdihu@prparks.org. Players will receive an email to inform them of their team assignments and schedules. Registration deadline: April 3.

2011001 / Youth Volleyball Class (7-9 yrs)

Volleykidz is an introductory class for children 7yrs to 10yrs. The lesson plan introduces the pass, set and spike using a very light volleyball. Volleykidz will improve each child’s hand/eye coordination and left/right coordination through the use of fun drills and games.  Lesson plan also incorporates short educational drills including spelling, math & science. 

2011002 / Youth Volleyball Class (10-11 yrs)

2011003 / Youth Volleyball Class (12-14 yrs)

Improve your volleyball skills with 90 minutes of drills in setting, passing, overhand serving and spiking.  The lesson plan directs the use of individual training, pairing drills and game situation development that help each student reach a new level. Instructors organize short games at the end of each class. The lesson plan incorporates leadership and educational components.  

2011010 / Junior Volley Series Match Play

Interested in playing volleyball FOR 90 minutes with other volleyball athletes with skills to compete against other park teams? Then our Volleyball Pro will develop a team and bring parity to the weekly instruction to prepare match-PLAY. The coaches’ lesson plan will guide the team in weekly training for 90 minutes. At weekly practice the teams will learn team defense and offense positions while they improve on their fundamentals of passing, setting, spiking, and overhand serving. This is a 4-week program that meets once per week for 90 minutes.
