Brickton Art Center and the Park Ridge Park District Announce New Partnership

Brickton Art Center and the Park Ridge Park District are excited to announce a new partnership between the two organizations to advance arts in the Park Ridge community. Beginning in Fall 2018, the majority of Brickton Art Center classes will be held at the Park Ridge Park District’s Centennial Activity Center, located at 100 S. Western Ave. This move will allow expanded art programming opportunities for both the Park Ridge Park District and the Brickton Art Center. The new location will provide a spacious, naturally lit classroom looking out to Centennial Park and the iconic sled hill, as well as provide ample parking for students.

“This partnership allows us to continue our mission to advance arts in the community in a new space and with expanded programming opportunities,” Brickton Art Center’s Board President Annamaria Hallagan stated. “Brickton Art Center will remain an independent, non-profit organization, providing opportunities for skill development and appreciation of the visual arts. Working together with the Park District will allow us to be more integrated into the community and better able to serve you with outstanding creative opportunities.”

“We are excited at the opportunity to offer an expanded array of visual art classes to our residents provided by Brickton Art Center,” stated Park Ridge Park District’s Executive Director Gayle Mountcastle. “They have a long-standing reputation of providing quality, creative programs for all ages, and we are proud to partner with them to expand their program offerings to the community.”
