Enjoy a day down on the farm! Pet cows, chickens, goats, and more in the petting zoo featuring over 20 animals. Head out on a 50¢ hayride through Wildwood and hop on a pony ($5/ride). Have a rootin’ tootin’ good time with bingo, pig races, games, activities, and crafts. During the event, cowpokes big and small can try their hand at fun free contests like pie eating, potato sack races, tug of war, and a water balloon toss. Food, drinks, and lemonade shake-ups available for sale.

National Night Out, “America’s Night Out Against Crime,” began in 1984 as an effort to promote involvement in crime prevention activities, police-community partnerships, neighborhood camaraderie, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

This Friday Night Social allows you and all your friends to enjoy a night at the pool after it’s closed. Snacks and pop are available for purchase. No admittance after 7:30 pm. Parents: Pick up is at 9:00pm. Participants are not allowed to walk home without a note from parent.

The Park Ridge Park District sponsors two Summer Concerts at Hodges Park. On Friday, August 5, the New Standard Quintet with special guest Paul Mabin and Nanette Frank will perform "A Century of Song."

On Friday, August 19, from 7:00-8:00pm, Tainted Jack Band will play rock classics, 90's alternative, and today's hits.  Then at 8:00pm, Kashmir, a Led Zeppelin tribute band, will take the stage.

Please be aware, there are no concerts scheduled on Friday, July 29 or Friday, August 12 at Hodges Park.
