Celebrate kid-friendly Halloween fun with the Park Ridge Park District, Park Ridge Library, Kalo Foundation of Park Ridge, and the Park Ridge Civic Orchestra! Wear your costume and trick-or-treat your way around our Halloween-themed displays in Hodges Park, enjoy games and storytelling from the Park Ridge Library, coloring with the Kalo Foundation, and more! This exciting free event concludes with a costume parade to the Pickwick Theatre for the popular Park Ridge Civic Orchestra's (PRCO) Halloween family concert, "Bones, Mummies and Tomb Raiders." PRCO's performance opens with the Pickwick’s giant, antique pipe organ rising to play the Toccata and Fugue;and continues with the 75-person orchestra on Bacchanale; Sorcerer’s Apprentice; music from Lord of the Rings,Pirates of the Caribbean and Harry Potter movies; and the Raiders March from Indiana Jones. Thrilling!
