Get your summer job lined up!

The Maine-Niles Association of Special Recreation (M-NASR) provides individuals with disabilities access to meaningful and life-enriching recreation leisure opportunities. M-NASR is an extension of these park districts: Des Plaines, Golf Maine, Morton Grove, Niles, Park Ridge, Skokie, Village of Lincolnwood.

Scout troops, community groups, school groups, church groups, and individuals - help clean up our environment! We will meet at the front of the Maine Park Leisure Center at the flagpole at 4:30pm and walk together down Sibley to the Des Plaines River, where we’ll pick up the unwanted litter. 

Have fun as a family discovering what lurks beneath the surface of the pond! Dip and scoop with nets to catch lots of critters and maybe a few tadpoles! Learn all about life in the pond, and dress for a mess.

Enjoy a night of s'mores, stories, and songs around a campfire with your family. Sit around Wildwood's campfire circle to sing songs, listen to stories, cook yummy s'mores, and head out around the pond for a nighttime stroll.

Celebrate National Senior Health and Fitness Day at the Centennial Activity Center and Centennial Fitness Center! This free event is an opportunity to make, renew, and revitalize your commitment to live a healthier life through better health and fitness. 

Ready for Wildwood’s twist on the classic game of tag? A popular Nature Camp and Discovery Crew game, Zombie Tag is a prairie wide invasion to escape and evade getting tagged by the group of Zombie players.

Join us for the South Park Turtle’s birthday party celebration! Enjoy refreshments and fun prizes in honor of Murtle’s birthday. Aquatic events are open to all ages! Regular pool admission fees apply.

Camp out with your family outside at Wildwood. Enjoy a campfire dinner and s'mores on Friday night and breakfast on Saturday morning. Before and after dinner, say hello to the Wildwood critters, borrow a fishing pole or net and visit the pond, and then enjoy a family friendly movie before turning in for the night.

Do you sell fashion items, accessories, jewelry, skin care, cosmetics, home goods, art, or sweet treats? Sign up as a vendor for our Summer Craft & Vendor Fair! Shop local and support your community crafters and small businesses!

This community health fair, hosted by the Park Ridge Community Health Commission, City of Park Ridge, and Park Ridge Park District, offers activities for the whole family!

Park Ridge Park District Board Meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month. The public is invited to attend the meetings. The meeting will be held at the Wohlers Hall Administrative Building located at Prospect Park, 733 N. Prospect Ave.

Join us at Hinkley Pool as we float around and enjoy a movie after dark! Bring your favorite pool float for this event to help you relax under the stars and enjoy a flick and float at the pool.

Todd and The Ten Pins have been together for over 12 years, playing multi- generational music that makes you want to dance and sing! Rock, Country, Pop, Funk, New Wave and so much more. They've got a song for you!

Come to Wildwood Nature Center for the Gone Fishin' Derby at the Maine Park ponds. Registration fee includes one container of bait (wax worms or night crawlers) and all participants receive a goody bag. Additional bait is also available for purchase.

Bring a picnic (no alcoholic beverages or grills allowed) to Maine East High School and relax before the fireworks begin. Enjoy the evening catching up with friends and family. Join the Park District’s party staff and DJ for an Interactive Dance Party at 6:30pm. Arrive early and get a great spot!

Join us in Hodges Park on Sunday mornings for free community yoga! Ages 5-12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. 

Pack a picnic dinner and come over to Hodges Park for a summer concert sponsored by the Park Ridge Fine Arts Society. This week features the Brian Patti Big Band.

Parents and children, sample everything the Park District has to offer children age 5 and under, all in one place! Follow our scavenger hunt through the facility to try out our classes and activities. Drop in any time!
